What are the odds this is released to the public through a distributor like lipsey’s or Glock directly? I know Lipsey’s released the M series of FBI guns so I don’t think it would be out of the question. Thoughts?

We'll see. But the Lipsey's guns aren't the FBI config. They're slightly different.

They blend into the ground better when dropped.

Same as their infantry rifle, never shot/dropped once.

Apparently a lanyard plug makes a big difference! That is a cool looking 17 though.

Ok Here goes. I don't like the FDE color. I'll stick with Black.
The only Colored Glock I have is my G-43X with silver Slide.
Well I do have a Gen2 G-17 Frame on my AA, 22, conversion.
I Sprayed it with OD Green Krylon, just to see how it would work out. It looked Good at the start, but the paint wore off in
the most used areas. I started to get Acetone, or Paint Thinner to try and clean it off, then decided It would just make a sticky mess. So now it just looks used, Green,& Black, Sort of Battle Worn.
Hmm Sell it for Twice What I paid, and get another Black Frame and leave it alone.
All I painted was the Frame.
My Luck I would have to sell it for Half what I paid, and then could only find another frame in FDE.
I better Quit while I'm behind. Besides it doesn't look that bad.

Saw a kid once in the Balkans, he was carrying an RPK or something on a very long road march.
About nineteen, slim as a nail, with two belts of 7.62x39 I guess or 7.54 around his neck.
Finally get the chance to stop, and he drops the gun and ammo, reaches into his shirt and pulls out a lanyard connected to a Gen two G-17.
Where and if, he had an xtra mag, I don't know, but he impressed the crap out of me for humping that gun and his choice of back up gun.

There are many, many very good handguns made.I find it difficult to find a better handgun to go into combat with than a Glock.
