    Gents,

I recently received a free gear bag from LAPG for ordering some kit from the. This is a surprisingly sturdy and well made bag. As I did not buy it, I am at a loss for what to do with it. Here is the link and a picture (But mine is black). My initial thoughts were some sort of range bag or a medical bag for my truck. Have at it. I know there are some great minds here.

Even after watching the video, I am still at a loss.

Get rid of the logo and find where it'd fit best use wise. For me I'd be range bag,but it looks like it might have room enough for a decent truck med bag.We have several,I carry an ammo can most times for range trips and a nice bag is low on my radar.Yet,free is just that enjoy.'08.

ETA: Sorry the "logo" was on the vid bag, myself I like to make bags ect bland. "Nothing worthwhile here".I've had truck breakins and the stuff has been ignored.

Good thinking, my actual bag has a blank cover over the velcro for maybe a 1st aid patch. Truck first aid bag is what I am thinking.

I agree with your assessment, and if the company is giving them away, it may be that most of their customers are having the same problem as you (don't really know what to use it for, so the bags aren't selling very well).

Well, if you follow the link, they are on sale from $59 to $19. It is very well made and would be good for a lot of things that I already have bags for. I am thinking either med for the truck or tools for the truck. A distant third is a shotgunning bag, as I can put all of my chokes in the various pockets. The dividers make it a wide place to store boxes of shells.

I use the same bag for my competition gear. It holds all the stuff I need for an idpa match.

I got one of these, too. I use it as a handy way to bring the Glock and a few mags with me to and from the car. Has a bit of room for a flashlight and a knife plus some first aid basics. It gets tucked away out of sight so I wouldn't have cared if they logo-ed it up.

I had a dream last night, I think a truck emergency bag is the task for this bag. I will have jumper cables, road flares and other signals, some binding straps, tools, maybe a miniature air compressor (We have a thread on those, I believe) first aid stuff, maybe a collapsable fuel bladder, Fuzes tire repair kit and fix a flat. What else do you guys think? (Remember the size of the bag)

OK, so here is my truck emergency bag. No first aid as I already have an EDC and BOB in their that both have some semblance of first aid. This is mostly vehicle emergencies.

    Fix a flat
    Tire Goop
Tire repair kit (For big holes)
    Various hand tools
    Razor Knife
    Collapsable safety cone
Road flares (In the flash light pouch)
light stick (doubles as a batter for USB devices)
    Tow strap
Electric Tire inflator (1 tire in 3 minutes, typical is 8 minutes)
    Ratchet strap
    Radiator leak additive
    WD40
    Mini and regular fuzes
    Gorilla and electrical tape
Some kinda hose and pipe repair tape, just add water.
Flashlight on a magnet and hook
    DC-AC converter
    Battery terminal brush
I bought jumper cables, but they were too big, they have their own bag and are stored under this bag in the back seat.

I've gotten 2 of these bags. One I use as a range bag and the other as a gym bag...works great as a gym bag...spot for water bottle, protein shaker bottle, deodorant, extra t-shirt etc

OK, here is another puzzle, I received a watch with red light and carabineer for Christmas. It came in this really cool tin. What to do with the tin? I am thinking a fishing kit? What says the group?

It has a spring loaded clamp on each end that are very tight and sturdy.
