    Is that you, mhambi?

I thought of that, but I was thinking about something like the old hand-held plastic slide viewers, with clear instead of matte glass, and with lines delineating 24mm-135mm lens focal lengths. I am surprising something inexpensive like that does not exist for folks who like primes.

It should be relatively easy to make and to manufacture. Perhaps I should get on it. ;)

    <---this is me.

Sounds like a good idea. I just cut a hole in a piece of cardboard stock I had floating around. It's surprisingly fun to use.

Is that a red star on that beret? That avatar looks like Che Guevara after a three-year leave at an all-inclusive Club Med resort. ;)

Hrm. I used one for an art class way back eons ago. I had totally forgotten that. I kinda automatically crop what I see with my eyes when looking for shots...it's the process of actually capturing what I'm "seeing" that kicks my butt.
