I'm sure going to miss this guy.
Sadly, he probably only has a very short time left, they are doing this quickly to honor him while he's still here...
...probably only a few weeks left, then...
In my opinion, the man deserved this honor long before this. God speed Dennis.
Thank you for this update.
Good for him! I've loved his stuff since Easy Rider!
I think you are right. He looked like a shell of the man we used to see. He was always cool. That is sad.
"Bad Things Man"
sad. He was a good actor.
I always liked his work.
I'll probably catch crap for mentioning "WaterWorld", but I loved his character in that movie.
He is one of the very few actor's I wouldn't have mind meeting.
Great actor and always Cool! A true original and a true rebel!
I had absolutely no idea he was dying of cancer until I read this story. Wow.
That's a shame. I enjoy his work.
Gents, get tested. I know the yearly finger sucks and a PSA test isn't very convenient, but the alternative sucks worse.
I lost a favorite uncle to prostate cancer (never got checked that I know of) and my FIL has it now. He's in his late 80s and because he got treatment, the docs say something else will kill him because the cancer won't grow enough to do him any harm.
Just watched "Hoosiers" a few days ago and renewed my appreciation for his talent. He is going out a tough way with the prostate cancer -- a reminder to the rest of us to get checked out.
Godspeed Mr. Hopper!
God Bless you Dennis Hopper. May you be as happy as you have made your many fans!!! You are a great actor and a great man. You deserved so much more than this for your career. You will be missed when you are gone.
Loved him in Blue Velvet... He is a great actor, and this is an honor that is better late than never. Jsut glad that he recieved the star before he did depart this world.
True Romance "Sicilians" scene with Christopher Walken is one of my all time favorites.
You earned your Star, thanks Dennis.
That is too bad, prostate cancer is a tough way to go. It is a shame that media types can't show some decency to his son.
Sorry about your uncle, that is good advice.
