I have the 17, 19, 21, and 23 Gen 3 TB guns. I *believe* that's all the Gen 3 models available in the U.S.. Glock did sell a threaded barrel for the 22, but I don't recall ever seeing a factory 22TB pistol. There is a 25TB. That's going to be quite the unicorn in the states.

25 TB interesting.
I’d be shocked if the Hoarder didn’t have a line on one. He is the MacDaddy collector.

Lol guys!!

Nice score on the 22!! Great find!!! Congrats

Most unfortunately, the only 25 TB that I've ever seen is at Cody. The last time I looked at the order form I did not see the TB option listed but it may be there now I would have to pull one up. Or it may have been offered in the past but no longer. However I have checked those order forms every couple years for quite some time now and have never seen one. I've long had thoughts of my Sheriff letting us order them for off duty carry along with the 28 but he doesn't like glocks so I've never asked.

As you can imagine my 25 was not anything that I had imported. I got it a few years ago from an officer in another department that somehow I guess convinced his agency to buy some. I can't remember what I paid for it. I know it was well over the $400ish that they are supposed to cost, but he did give me a good deal on it being that I'm sworn also. I think that mine has factory night sights on a but I can't remember off hand. My 25 is the only new in box 25 that I have run across in years. For that matter it's the only 25 that I have run across in collectors circles in years but I'd guess more of them are out there. I remember when I took the glock 18 operator school they had a 28 for us to shoot but they didn't even have a 25. I really just totally lucked out with that one. It was no one that I knew prior and no one that I've gotten anything from since. I can't even remember high I found out about it.

As I'm sure many of you know my 25 was actually featured in the current Glock Collectors Association journal there was mailed out a few weeks ago.

Exactly!
Last year I picked up a pair of purple label(which means no SKU info)Gen3 17s with alpha prefixes XWU- and XWV-. I called Glock and the tech rep told me both were manufactured in July 2014 with threaded barrels and polymer sights, not suppressor sights which I asked about. When I got them of course they didn’t have the TBs but I ordered a pair of the 13.5 LH and both had XWU- prefixes, so both guns are at least in original configuration for now.
So, was particular threaded run from Glock or a special distributor run?
I been googling the TB guns and so far haven’t found anything about any distributor.

While browsing for 17TBs on the web, I’ve come across the following alpha prefixes:
XWS-
XTD-
XWV-
XWU-
XVM-
XTE-
I also came this USA made version at Vance Outdoors( unfortunately no longer available)
and another example on Guns International.
Anybody know anything about these?

It occurred to me after posting the above alpha prefixes that if the numbers go from 1 to 999 there might be as many as 6000 of the 17TBs were produced. Thoughts on this?
And here is a pic, again of GIGN with
the last man in the stack with a G19(I think) with a suppressor and a RAID operator with a 17TB. I wonder if there are certain folks in these units who become suppressor specialists.
