Forgot to reassemble with guide rod/recoil spring

    Yeah yeah, I was going to quick and in my hast forgot to put the rod/recoil spring back in. I am now having a problem removing the slide. Any pointers?

    just push the slide so it lines up with the frame and dry fire the gun and the frame will come right off ...

    You can just push the slide forward to where it would normally be and pull the trigger.

    Same thing happened to me a few years ago and someone on here helped me out.

    Not everyone is born a "Glock expert".

    I forgot to put the buffer and spring back in my AR once. That was annoying as hell to unscrew!

    Thanks for all the help guys. I actually found another post on this subject after a more extensive search. The Youtube video was very helpful. All is good now. Hopefully I didn't break anything after pulling the trigger about 20 or so times.
