trying to reassemble the Glock 23 it felt strange and the slide would only move 1/4" from the front of the polymer frame after racking the slide. Dry fired it several times after cocking it this way trying to slowy and gently figure this out without damaging the gun until I noticed the recoil spring on the table. Field stripped and reassembled this time with the recoil spring in place. All seems well when working the action and dry firing. Haven't shot it since this happened, as it just happened and I will go shooting next Wednesday. Did I hurt my Glock?

    Thanks

    Camu

Phewww! Thanks! I was so worried I hurt my first Glock. And it's brand new. Thanks for your time...
