Friday I saw a Glock 22 Gen 4. It was the only Gen 4 Glock in the store and was for display only, not for sale. I grabbed it to get the feel for it. It has a smaller backstrap, kind of bent inward to make the grib smaller. The pyramid spikes are much more dull, with top triangle cut off. Smaller grip, somewhat better grip than Gen 3, but not a dig-in like grip of the RTF2. I did not try on a larger backstrap because I like one piece grip better. I ended up buying me a RTF2 Glock 23, and had Trijicon night sight installed. This one had the traditional 7 vertical notches, not the Shark Gills. When I got home, I handled it often and tried my Glock 19 Gen 3. Well, I must say Gen 3 is now too slippery. So, I will be waiting for a 19 RTF2, and sell my 19 Gen 3 later on.
