I’m trying to recruit younger guys but to do that we need a place to meet and things to do. To get us started toward a building we are running a raffle with proceeds going towards the building fund.

We’re only selling 500 tickets so if you’re interested, pm me for info.
This is what’s up for raffle-

    PM sent.

My dad's first car was a '67 Mustang with the 289 4- barrel. His was red on red, but when I was 14, we rebuilt a '69 Camaro that was the same shade of green with a green interior.

    Good luck.

Most of the retirees around here take one of two paths. Some simply move from job to job never expecting to retire and the others leave LE behind for good.

We had one FOP lodge that was on prime mountain real estate and they sold it off for a fortune. Where the money went, no one seems to know.

We’re like a hermit crab. We’ve moved several times to places to have meetings but without a place to do stuff we’ll never sustain any sort of momentum.

If I could get 1/4 of the officers in the county interested, we could have 400 active members. With that many folks, we could do stuff for the lodge and the community.

We have a local FOP lodge and I’ve never attended a function.

I’ve been PBA since I started. I have been thinking maybe it’s time to for me to consider some fellowship.

The FOP has a legal defense fund too; you can use your own attorney with it.

The fellowship portion is what I’m trying to get restarted. When I started, you knew your squad mates and their families. Now it’s FB and other social media for the most part. Anyway, I never liked going to bars and such where trouble starts and around here, there aren’t enough guys to support a ‍♀️ bar.

The county normally poaches the PD guys here but ALEA took 7-8in the last few classes and the county is having a hard time recruiting guys that are leaving the city because they are leaving LE all together.
