I have found some NIB FNP 9's in stainless, with 5 mags, going for $399 + tax+ $12 shipping. Does anyone have this gun, and if so, what are your opinions on it. Trigger, ergos, etc. I am a little disappointed with the 10 round capacity, but the ad says 3 mags are 10 round, and 2 mags are 16 round.

I own a FNP 40. Very well made gun. Shoots good and never had a malfunction. The trigger is about middle of the road. For 399 I'd definitely go for it. I paid more than that and I'm happy with mine.

Only one I have fooled with the the FNP45. Well made pistols, nice trigger, both DA and SA. With that said, its big honking pistol. Grip was uncomfortable with my thumbs forward grip.

If the FNP9 is smaller that its .45ACP brother, it would be a nice fullsize 9mm.

I just found out the OTD door price would be $401 with 5 mags. Sounds like I should seriously consider it. It looked real nice in stainless

If you really like the traction on the FNX-9 grip, then the FNP9 will disappoint you.

I'm not familiar with that FN. However, I am becoming an FN fan. And suspect if it says "FN" on the label it may be quite good. I'm a pistol nut and have owned many of all kinds, including MANY custom made ones. I recently purchased the FN Tactical .45 and am very impressed with this things performance. Very ugly, very accurate, very well thought out, very reliable, best trigger in the plastic guns I've owned. I much prefer it to the 3 H&K's I've owned. I now consider it the top of the line in plastic pistols, and I have 3 Glock's, and have owned several S&W and other plastic pistols.

You mind saying where? I've been looking for one of these
CTD (Ft Worth) has them on sale until Sat. $400 OTD with 3 ten round mags and 2 sixteen round mags. (16 round mags are $19.99)

I bought one today and a lady friend and I ran about 10 mags through the gun.

One jam feeding and the slide didn't lock back twice. I think the reloads I was using weren't quite hot enough for the gun or it can stand a little breaking in.

I'll probably shoot it quite a bit in the next couple days.

It looks like it's going to be a good gun.

I bought a new in box FNP-9 with the 5 mags for $399.00. Looked like a good deal.

First range session I ran 125 rounds through it okay. Around the 130 mark the trigger failed to reset until you manually cycled the slide and ejected live round by hand.

Sent it back to factory under warranty. They fixed it in about 2 wks. Never did know what was problem. I sold it after it was returned.

Your mileage may vary. I personally will not buy another one.
