Just jumped into the world of digital photography.
This is my first decent camera Olympus 6.0-Megapixel Digital Camera
How did I do? I am planning on mostly doing gun range shots and action type stuff and a few portraits of my dog before he passes on to the next world.
Will this camera do the high speed shots I am looking for? I am a muzzle blast freak, (10mm, .44mag and now .500S&W) and I am looking at getting some good blast pics. I also saw a post not long ago where a pic was taken with 3 empties in the air and the bullet was visible about 3ft in front of the muzzle. Can this camera do those types of shots well?

I read both stickies up top and they answered some of my preliminary questions. I thanks those in advance for help with my new hobby!!
    Mike

    According to this:

    http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Olympus/oly_fe120.asp

your Oly has a shutter speed of up to 1/2000 part of a second which is fast. I do not think that you have manual controls to activate that short speed however. Think about using your strobe (electronic flash) to freeze motion.
