I saw a used FN-P9 and I would like to have some feedback from owners, former owners, people who have shot it...

It felt like a SIG, only cheaper.

    my buddy has a FNP40

the pistol is well made, he doesn't take the best care in things but is doesn't show any wear..

save a copy of your 4473 , every year FN offers a shooters pack or a safety package

the recoil was very manageable and the trigger's D/A pull wasn't too bad.

the biggest problem he has was getting magazines or nightsights , where are some being made now but for magazines its either FN's website or topgunsupply and one company now makes nightsights

i'd buy one, its a DA/SA polymer pistol at a good price point

I handled on about a year ago and I liked it. I would like to shoot one. It looks comfortable.

Thank you all for your replies; apparently not many people are conversant on this pistol. I am intrigued, will investigate further. I never found SIG's controls intuitive, particularly for a South paw as I am, and liked handling this one better.

What do you think would be a good price point for one (I think one mag and no box, just as is)?

Also, can you please explain the 4473 thing?

Around here , you can pick up a new fnp9 with 3 mags for 545 . To add, I rented a fnp40 and liked it.

I picked one up last year on close out at Wholesale Sports for $403.75, and it seems to be a very solid pistol.

sure , when you buy a pistol new at a gunshop you fill a yellow form 4473. for FN rebate purposes you send the card and the 4473 in and depending on your rebate card they send you a shooters package or safely package

i don't know i would pay much for one used with one magazine. My shop is running a special $390 for a FNP9 new in box with Three magazines, cleaning kit and manuals if i had to guess i'd take $250-300

the reason why is the FNX is coming out 2010

Does your shot ships to FFL? Could you please send me some contact info or post it here?
    Thank you much.

I'm holding out for the FNX-9, which is a 9mm based on the FNP-45 frame design. It should be awesome.

one thing i like about FN in general is they are usually on time with their deadlines
