Shot close to a total of 3,000 rounds with teflon bullets in my G17 and about 200 rounds in my G19. Didn't notice any residue and didn't have to clean the pistols that much, as opposed to shooting lead. Felt recoil was also softer.
I shoot factory loaded fmj's, range ammo fmj's from Armscor and I also reload my own ammo(when I have the time), I use Armscor FMJ heads and also teflon heads from First Option and True Weight. I noticed I still get some "leading" of the barrel when I use Teflon heads - but not that much.
Anybody interested in reloaded Armscor FMJ using once-fired (I think) brass in 9mm? PM gundog, he has lots of left overs from his prod days. Teflon is also available, I think.
