Just wondering if anyone is down for contributing to an arrangement for Walt...

Here's the funeral home obit and I was thinking that with as many members that are active here we could send a pretty big arrangement for his family's sake.

    Whose in?

*Edited 5/17 to update obituary link.

I'll throw in $10 bucks. If anyone wants to take point and do the order, or I can do it, it doesn't matter.

I can take PayPal if that's what we decide. If you want to give post the amount you'll contribute and I'll pm you my PayPal address...

I was thinking $10 but $20 is cool of you. I'll take $5 and up to my PayPal, that way if someone wants to contribute but doesn't have $20 to spare...

There's no funeral information given. Are you certain there is a service or it hasn't already happened? He passed on Saturday. Perhaps a memorial contribution but usually the family requests where it's to be sent.

So, I’ll just throw this out there: I’m not big on flowers. I think it’s nuts to spend $300 on something that dies in a few weeks. Maybe a memorial plaque for his gravesite or even donations to his family would be better suited? If we can get in touch with who ever posted on his account.

What a kind gesture, Dale. I was wondering if there was an actual service, too, as no date or service was mentioned. Around my area, funerals are usually held within about three or four days unless there are family members who can't arrive by then.

I don't recall Mr. Cowan's posts, but I lurk here a lot so I'll help with whatever you decide to do. Please PM how to send when you decide.
