    So how is lensbaby contributing here? By making the pix slightly fuzzy in an irregular way? [​IMG]

    Yup.

    I cannot get a tacksharp focus with this thing. I know it is me because I managed to do it...once...

    I guess it takes practice, practice and more practice.

    Also, the images were not sharpened or subjected to any sort of PP. I rarely sharpen anything so you should just assume I haven't by now :rofl:

    And if you didn't use the lensbaby, could you then, after taking a sharp photo, postprocess it in exactly the way you wanted?

    Sorry I am thinking like an engineer, but wouldn't that be simpler and more predictable?

    What about getting a macro focusing rail for use with it. That was you can set if for the affect you want and then move the camera for and aft to get the focus correct.

    Rail won't work. I opted for the Original instead of the 3G which has the focusing system.

    You might could do it in PP but since I rarely PP an image...
