I like Fenix and Nitecore. Surefire is good but 'spensive. No experience with Streamlight but I hear a lot about them.

I bought a lot of Stream. Microstreams for family members. One of them was a foreman on a construction sight and everyone used his light until the on/off switch finally went out. I emailed them, told them I only needed the switch and it was in the mail that day. I was very impressed.

On a side note, the sight boss bought everyone on the job their own Microstreams.

I bought a Nitecore Tiny Monster a few years ago. Still working after all the stress testing. It is heavy but damn it puts out some light! I've downsized to Zebralight. I only want to carry a torch that has a single 18650 cell. I own a couple Zebralight flashlights and that own I normally carry is the SC600w MK II L2. Never dealt with warranty or customer service though for Zebralight.

Just write a letter saying "fix the damn thing". Throw it in a box and mail it to them.

Lately I only buy Kershaw knives. The factory is near me. (about 20 miles away). I stopped in with a broken knife. They said. . "Have a seat". 10 minutes later they brought out the knife, fully repaired and sharpened. No charge, even though it was a knife I had for years. Next time I was looking for a knife I bought a Cryo and an Ember. .
