I've only been to Maribago.
The duplexed rooms right on the beach are a world apart from the
prettified-tenement stacked-boxes towards the rear of the property.
The beach itself is a coarser sand than I'd like. Food from the resort's
restaurants or from mga nearby (roadside) grill joints is great ...better
than SuToKil, lol...
The resort is kid-friendlier than most.
Take a morning boatride out to nearby, tiny Caohagan Island for lunch
right on the shore -and oh, there's this sandbar stretching out into
aqua-colored shallows, where you can sit, surrounded by nothing but
the sea, almost. Wade out just a little, and it's deep enough to swim,
or you can just sit on the sand, the waves lapping at your belly... and
enjoy the views, the cool water, the bracing wind, and the absence of
any 'civilized' noise.
If you're with good company, as I was, you'll enjoy it.
