Who else is tired of the same stupid Silverado add? It use to come up once, i'd click close and wouldn't have to worry about it. Now I have to click it every time I go to a new page! :steamed: The damn thing is annoying! We should petition all pop-up adds to go away!

Ah, the weekly ad thread returns. If you don't like it, either pay to be a member, or download adblock like the rest of the world already has.

Membership, maybe. I was unaware that a membership would get rid of them. As far as downloading, I'm on my work computer 90%. I cannot download anything. I shouldn't have to pay or download anything anyway to simply enjoy a site.

I see that you have a whole 8 posts... If you don't like it, leave.

Eric has put a lot of work into this site and has provided us a place to share and enjoy things...

If I came into your home and started complaining about your wallpaper and that I thought you should change so that I could have a better experience.... Well, either you get it or you don't.

    That's gratitude for you. :whistling:

I see you have many more than I do so you should have a better unstanding of how this should work. This isn't a house, it's a business. Good business is listening to your customers. I'll tell you what if you don't like the thread, then don't post on it. :crying:Hell don't read it!:tongueout:

I come here less because of them. And I make Damn sure I never click an ad. This isn't a porn site, no need for pop ups. This place already brings in plenty of cash flow.

I'm at work right now. Unfortunately my job is very boring. I answer questions and phone calls. Most of the time there are no questions or phone calls. So I try to find something to do. I will say though, today I X the same stupid add and it has yet to pop back up. Idk if it's just luck, or maybe a mod had something to do with it. IF one did, then THANK YOU!

Agreed. Ad's on the side, top, or bottom is fine with me. Just don't get in my way of traveling through the site is all I ask. Even if they put a pop-up add once I click out of it that should be the end of it. Right now thats how it's going. I clicked X and it hasn't come back up. That makes me very happy, instead of annoyed.

    It is spelled Ad

    Short for advertisement.

    Not short for addition.

If I were Eric, I wouldn't bother with opinions from someone who didn't know the difference.

Calls ad stupid, but can't spell "ad". Priceless. :)

Ad is short for advertisement, and does not contain two d's.

GT is private property. You should have to do whatever the owner says you should do to enjoy his site.

:rofl::rofl: Here in TEXAS, the truck ads on TV run constantly. I have a buddy and we call each other, will sometime say..."Hey, you know April (or whatever month it is), is Truck Month!"
They are real amusing to watch on the Spanish language TV channels:wow::wow:
FWIW, most trucks around here don't look like they are ever used to carry or haul anything but the fat butts of the drivers:tongueout:

A lot of business is hearsay. If you want their business in the future then that requires them to be happy and want to "shop" Nice try though. :tongueout:

Don't have the time to stare at a computer screen as much as you do I guess.
