what kind of fishing are you looking at doing? Fly, by boat, float tube, bank, eggs, spinners, etc.

If you are flyfishing, try the Yakima River. It is worth the drive if you have some experience. Also, lots of lakes and strems up in the cascades around White Pass/Chinook Pass area- but that might be a bit too far if you arent looking to do some hiking too.

PS> Luke77- I noticed your quote, "Yaktowns Finest"- Are you from Yakima? Let me know, perhaps PM me or something. I've never seen anybody else from Yakima on here....just curious

Yeah, as far as salmon go, I wouldn't hit the Yakima River. Besides, its catch and release anyway. Not hardly worth the drive.

Yes, I am from Yakima! You have a PM.

Wish I could help you but most people on the Eastside fish Lake Washington.

If you need any leads on bass/crappie/bluegill/catfish, I have some lakes for you.
