Fish Hatchery

    One more from my recent Lone Pine trip. Believe it or not, this is the Mt. Whitney Fish Hatchery. It was built around 1916 with funds raised by the locals (Independence, CA), and it was decided it would be built to look like a European chateau. It was quite an interesting and fun place to visit.

    That yellowish tree on the right reminds me of a spray of millet or wheat. Anybody else see that?
