A buddy of mine with his .40 Sig 2022 and I went over to our local range so I could break her in. What an amazing gun, I fell in love right then and there. Just went through 200 rounds flawlessly, very accurate, and a thing of beauty. My buddies Sig on the other hand jammed up on him with good ammo. Its funny, right after that he told me that he wasted his 900 bucks and should have went with the Glock. I replied that if he was in a gunfight, he would have just lost! I shot about 200 rounds of RWS brass that I got at walmart @ 12.97 a box (rollback price, usually 17) and that stuff seemed to be a really good quality as well. We were having matchups shooting bunches from 5,10,15 yards and the glock was just superior as far as grouping and general accuracy, and my buddy has had guns for about 15 years. This is my first glock, and only the third time at the range in my life, so i was very impressed to say the least! Knowing that the accuracy will only get better is motivation to get down there and shoot some more!!! I am officially hooked!!!

Sorry for the confusion, the Glock was perfect, the Sig maybe after about 70 rounds or so jammed up. Im not too sure what kind of jam or what exactly happened, but he did get it out and continued to use it. He was pretty "let down" after that tho. I hate to say it as I know there are plenty of Sig fans here as well, but I dont see what people like about them so much? It seemed really tall and there were tons of switches and triggers and all that jazz. It could be that I dont know what Im talking about and its a great gun. FWIW, He did purchase a Glock 30sf right aftherwards :whistling:

Congrats on the 19. They are almost a "perfect size". I haven't had any problems with my Sigs either but limp wristing can hit anyone sometimes.

Congrats on your new G19! Shot my new one again yesterday and am glad to be BACK to Glocks. One thing though, if your friend spent $900.00 on a 2022 he got took. They're normally in the $400ish range. Tell him to check Top Gun Supply for great pricing. SIGs are great pistols, I have several of them. For ease of use though, it's hard to beat a Glock.

Congrats, glad you like it. I love my 19, best Glock in my eyes

As for the SIG, don't let what you saw of a SP2022 make up your mind up for a SIG. Swap that out with any out of their classic lineup (P220, P226, P228, etc), and it would have been dead on all day long

I'm deadly accurate with my SigPro 2022. I am almost as good with my Glock 19 though. I trust my life to both pistols if I ever had to use them in a SHTF situation. Both great pistols though! Glad you like your Glock 19 though! Fantastic weapon.
