I picked up my first Glock wednesday, Generation 4 Glock 17:embarassed:

It stopped raining here in MD half way through the day and I decided to finally put some bullets down the barrel. I'd been a little nervous about doing so after hearing the FTF and FTE problems with the Gen 4s. I'm happy to report I had no such problem shooting 2 mags each of WWB and Federal Champions [IMG]

I did have one FTF which was clearly due to limpwristing while shooting with one hand.

Overall it shot great and can't wait to put more rounds through it!

I've always been a huge Glock fan but the issue of jamming with weak grips really bothers me. It's a blemish on an otherwise brilliant reliability record. I've personally experienced weak grip FTE. Next time I go to the range I'm going to experiment.

Don't anyone say "well don't weak grip it". The point is Glocks seem to have more trouble with that than other pistols so it's a legit point of criticism.

I agree with you but I'm glad I didn't have any of the problems with FTF/FTE even with perfect grip.
