Went to the range last Tuesday with my Glock M21 and I noticed that my first shot coming from draw is always low. The rest are ok. Tried dry firing and I found out that I was flinching during the first shot. Not sure what the reason is. Might be anticipation or not taking up the slack in the trigger. I tried slowing down the first shot and it was better. Have you had any problems of this type?

you are going too fast and anticipating the recoil and you're pulling the gun down.

get a complete grip before full presentation. bilangan mo father.

    1. dominant hand to the pistol's grip, support arm up at umbilicus level, midline.

    2. draw and bring pistol up, the support hand meeting the pistol and getting a proper 2-hand grip

    3. push muzzle towards target while shifting your focus to the front sight. trigger finger not yet inside trigger guard

    4. align your sights and finger prepping the trigger and taking up any slack.

    5. smooth squeeze of the trigger and huwag na huwag mo gagayahin si Pogi! keep your eyes open and focused on the front sights! repeat!

    hahaha!

    Vicara,

Yes indeed they can do this. I found out when I had a brief visit last October. They can even go full auto on MP5 or any other assault rifle for that matter. This is at Marikina open range where my nephew took me in. We, here in Kalifornia are missing a lot of these privileges.

I've always used a Glock. Distance is about 4 meters. It does matter. I think that I'm going too fast and not taking up the slack. Yes, I'm wearing ear protection, always do.

    Kelangan ba ibukas ang mata?!?!

    Father -

Two Our Father's and one Hail Mary before you draw would solve it. :animlol:

Seriously, try to prep the trigger (remove the slack)when you draw and focus on the front sight before you pull trigger.

    Vicara,

I am still here in China, perhaps for another 10 days..
I will perhaps stop by at Manila for 2 days on my way back and have dinner with relatives at Kaymig owned by Capt Barbel. I read all about it from this wonderful forum.

I was invited by my nephew to an open range somewhere in Marikina. I had a swell time considering that he let me use his MP5, M4, UZI and AK47 with 223 and a host of hand guns. Oh I forgot to mention that we brought along an old Thompson 45 that his dad kept all these years.

    Regards,

    stglock

Yes sir from my experience you can do this at PBDionisio Indoor range in QC...You can holster and draw, set-up barricades at the 25MeterRoom, use full auto glocks, Baby(s), MP5s, M16s, AKs, M14s but you must shoot at the coco-wood stops only if one is using rifle cartridges which is about 3ft. in height...

    see your target

put your sights on the target

press trigger till pistol fires take your time and see what you need to see to make the shot.

    keep it simple
