Hello All,

Took a Gen 4 G17 to the range today and ran 100 rounds of PMC 115 gr. thru it.

The accuracy is perfect. First round was on the X @ 10 yds. Second round was limp wrist (on purpose) to see what happened. Yes, it failed to feed.

Next 98 rounds were perfect, no issues.

I checked the spring on the Gen 4 against my Gen 3 G17. Pushing slide to slide, the Gen 4 slide moved about 1/8-1/4" while moving the slide on the Gen 3 back to slide lock. The Gen 4 spring is quite a bit stronger.

That said, it worked perfect, shot excellent groups. Trigger is great.

Congrats on the new gun. FWIW-avoid 115 gr ammo if possible. Gen4's are more reliable with heavier bullet weights. And make sure the gun is well lubed too, which will help avoid ftf or fte problems with the 115 gr ammo.
