I've been using my FIST super-thin kydex IWB for my G-19 for about 5 months now. Lightweight and very smooth. I also use a Kramer and Ted Blocker LFI rig. In a pinch I'll use the Glock belt slide, but I usually use the belt slide for R/H carry.
I have a Desantis "The Insider" model number is 031BBE1Z0 It says on the package for 26/27/33 which I use every day for my G33 however I have carried my 17 in it without a problem, needed loose pants though. The bottom is open so the barrel just sticks out the end is all.
I love my CTAC for my 19. Carry it everyday and it's very comfortable. Sometimes even I forget I have it on. The Answer is also supposed to be good as well.
I have been recently using a FIST K8 purchased from Gunners Alley that is very comfortable. It is thin kydex and has an adjustable cant. It is for my G23 and the adjustment brings the gun grip closer to the body and the muzzle rearward position allows a full combat grip on the gun. The thin kydex works well for an inside the waistband type holster.
Sidearmor is okay, but only if it is for a Glock. Otherwise, you're screwed. Edited to add, and only if it's one of three Glock holsters. It's plain to see that Sidearmor doesn't want our business. I'd rather give my money to Cendex or Comp-tac, who both make their entire range in right and left handed.
I've been using a Sidearmor for my 19 and like it. Does anyone have any experience with Galco? I saw a left handed IWB at the gun shop the other day.
I'm new to this ccw business and saw only one IWB before I bought it. It happened to be an Uncle MIkes Sidekick size one. My Colt Mustang Pocketlite fits loose but stays put and my G26 fits in it also. As to comfort I have had nothing to compare it with although the Colt obviously feels less "there" at the end of the day than the Glock.
I've been carrying my G27 in a 3rd Generation Sidearmor IWB for several years now. The only thing I'd swap it for is a 4th Generation model (when they start cranking them out for us lefties). Customer service could not be any better. Great people to deal with.
I love my Tucker Gunleather "Answer". It was comfortable right out of the box and just seems to get better. It makes both my G19 and my G36 just disapear even under just an untucked tshirt. It is also lightning fast and very secure when inside the waistband. About the only downside is when you remove it, the gun is no longer secure in the holster, as your body acutally keeps it in place and provides tension when you wear it. This is not a big deal, whenever I need to put the gun away and go somewhere, I just unholster unload and bag the gun and leave the holster in place.
