First(?) Glock sales brochure for the U.S.

Haven't posted much in the past year having been busy with work, life...and collecting 2nd and 3rd gen S&W's (don't worry, Glocks will always be my #1 love).

I know the below brochures have come up in the past, but I don't recall there having been a specific thread on them, if there is please link it as I cannot find one. As far as I can discern these may well be the first sales brochures produced by Glock destined for the U.S. market. I've managed to collect three examples and really like them for many reasons - they have that mid-1980's very early Glock look & feel, they are colorful, full of great info and photos, are laid out well and display nicely. One of my copies even came with the accessories insert.

I've seen these advertised as being from 1988 but I suspect they are earlier from 1987 or 1986, does anyone know? I also believe there was another almost identical version but with additional verbiage on the inside, centerfold portion at the top (it came up in a prior thread but I cannot find that post). There do not seem to be many left, only once or twice per year does one pop up and they go quickly. I wonder how many were ever in circulation given Glocks were barely known at the time and shortly after printing these new models were released likely necessitating that these brochures be removed and perhaps destroyed.

Anyhow I love these and would welcome any other insight that others may have into their history for our collective research and educational use.

A copy of the very first ad is included in the new Gen 1 17 envelope if I am correct. I do not have one to photograph but it's the certificate's other side.

Marcus you could be right on that.
That looks like a square notch magazine to me. Additionally we are seeing the early holster and military belt.
Why not display the other items if they had produced them at the time of this ad.
I have a couple of those and need to see where they were printed. US or Austria.

At least 86 I would think. Maybe even earlier.

Yes as far as I can discern this brochure has the earliest of many Glock developments. It certainly could have been prepared in 1985, distributed in 1986 and removed from circulation that year or shortly thereafter.
