Mark bought his years ago when they were reasonable.

Can you post a link to a current, original Rockola M2?

I'm curious as to what you think they're selling for these days.

It's a toss up for me which one was a favorite........the MP5 or the M2.

It's is fun. Being a Range Officer at my gun club has allowed me to shoot all manner of weapons. Many full auto versions. The last two I shot was an M-16 in 5.56 and a suppressed, SBR style M-16 in 9mm. One thing it really makes your realise that except for breaking an ambush or keeping the bad guys heads down while you move is about all it's good for. Even with the 9mm the first 2-3 rounds land on target but the gun still ends up climbing up as you fire. After shooting these weapons it makes a 3 round burst option make sense. Those few rounds are about all your going to hit with. A guy at the range has a full auto .22 SMG that is suppressed. It is alot of fun. With subsonic ammo all you hear is the bolt. Can't remember it's name off hand. But it has a drum magazine on the top of it. Tons of cheap fun.
Got to shot Thompson SMG's, M76's, MP40'd, 10mm MP5's (some F.B.I. agents had some, really sweet) and others. But realistically semi auto makes the most sense for most of us. But it is fun!
