Well I just completed my first 5k a little while ago. The course was a bit hilly and after only training for three weeks, I managed a 23:42.

Does anyone else here do any running, and if so, how do you train for a 5k?

Even if you have just started training, try to do a 5k in a couple months. I just started training last month and absolutely loved the experience. The positive energy, how supportive everyone was, it was a blast.

The fastest guy ran a 16.xx and the slowest across the line was in the 42:xx range. Just go do it, you are missing out on a good time. :)
