Recently, whether I use Firefox or Mozilla, I often get a hang-up do to "waiting for google". I check to see if I am still connected to the internet and the answer is yes. However, the only way out is to reboot. This is getting to be quite PITA, as it is occurring several times a day. Is there someway out without going back to IE (ugh) which I have removed from my machine.
I'm getting strange behavior out of FF 1.0.3 (latest). Seems to get tired and needs to be restarted. The flip to post after reply stops working after awhile. And the little spinner in the corner quits spinning during load/refresh...
Delete the Fox and try Mozilla Suite 1.7.x instead. It has a larger RAM footprint but there are hundreds of additional features, such as Composer and Communicator (e-mail client). Better yet, you'll only be running one Gecko engine at a time for everything. It appears to be a lot more stable, too.
