The older version of Firefox that I was running had an option to let you set it to refuse future cookies from any sites which you selectively deleted the cookies from. I don't remember if this feature was due to an extension which I may have installed or if it was part of the basic Firefox package. Either way, I thought it was worthwhile.

    Thanks for the reply.

As I recall, my older version of Firefox would let me check a box in the window where you look at/delete cookies. This box would prevent the deleted cookies from ever being allowed to return to the computer.
I don't know if that feature was part of the basic Firefox setup or was part of an extension that I had added.
