Date: October 22&23, 2011 and November 19&20 2011


Length: 16 Hours


Class Limit: 12 Student Maximum



Cost: $350.00


Most shooters train for speed and accuracy in daylight or bright indoor range conditions. We are going to teach you how to operate in a reduced light environment.
Instruction will be focused on the following:



fundamentals of shooting, firearms safety, how the human eye works, flashlight techniques, use of nightsights, drawing handgun and flashlight, malfunctions, reloading techniques, use of cover, multiple target engagement, weapon mounted lights techniques, use of force.



This course will be conducted during daytime hours at our indoor training facility in Brunswick GA


Instructor Bio:
Sam Conway is a professional firearms instructor with over 20 years’ experience. Sam is an original member of the United States Army Marksmanship Units Action Pistol Team, a Firearms Instructor for the Georgia Public Safety Training Center training local, county and states law enforcement officers, and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center as a Firearms Instructor training Federal law enforcement officers. He is currently a firearms instructor training independent contractors for overseas deployments, and the owner of American Shooters Edge.


Requirements for the course:
Minimum 500 rounds of pistol ammunition, Flashlight and pouch.
Handgun (semi-automatic preferred) 9mm or larger, four magazines.
Belt Holster, (No cross draw or shoulder holsters), two single or one double magazine pouch. Eye and ear protection. Range bag. Durable Belt. Notepad and pen, Black Markers. Hat. Comfort Items.



Rental Handguns are available for student use, the cost is $25.00 per day, and all ammunition must be purchased from American Shooters Edge.


A $100.00 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold a slot. Balance due on first day of class. We accept all major credit cards and checks.


As a special, all our courses with attendance of 10 or more paid students will include a chance to win a new Glock handgun. The pistol will be awarded to the most accurate and fastest student in the course.
