Only 50 rounds this time, but I loved the way it felt shooting the .45. And when I strippee it to clean, no idiot marks. :wavey:

I have been extremely pleased with mine.
I have always shunned the series 80 type safety, and will continue to do so. I will say though that the Remington has a super nice trigger break though. Easily the nicest trigger for the price point.

Mine to has been reliable with no malfunctions.

This is the first 1911 I have shot, so I havw nothing to compare to and it was only 50 rounds through it with out one malfunction.

    Congrats SilverBullet_83!

That's great that you liked it and that you cleaned it w/o scratching it. Start saving your money for the next one.

I love my R1, it was my first 1911 and the only one I had shot until I bought a Sig 1911 RCS two tone.
