I finally went out and ordered a G33 yesterday from my local dealer. This is the one pistol that I've been obsessing over for a couple of years now so, I should be content for a while.

Since the G33 seems to rarely get any love in the Sub Club forum, I thought I'd post here instead.

Finally was able to pick up my new G33 after work last night (had to wait the obligatory 10 days here in CA  ). Just waiting for my Pearce +1's to arrive in the mail and then it's off to the range.

What kind of recoil should I expect from it compared to my P239 .357Sig wrapped in Hogues?

I too have a P239/357Sig, so I'd be interested in hearing your impressions of the G33.

I love my G33. You may not believe how accurate it can be. I play around with mine from a sandbag rest just to see how well it groups and it will suprise you. I'm using Winchester Ranger 125 jhp sxt. Alot of firepower, very accurate, very reliable, very conceilable, did I miss anything ? Great fun to shoot !!!

    Enjoy your 33
My first Glock was the 33, still have it, my second was the G26, but carry the 33 daily.

    cheers:beer:

Congrats, I love my G33. Its a fantastic little power-house. When Vegas weather heats way up, you'd be suprised how much easier it is to carry my G33 than my G29. Its my summer carry and my G29 covers the rest of the year. PGH~

Finally took my G33 to the range over the weekend and I'm very impressed with this little beast. The recoil's definitely much stouter than my P239 but manageable.

One thing I'm questioning is my decision to to install Pearce +1's on all of my mags. With my large hands, the three-fingered grip is still a little uncomfortable and I had to regeularly re-adjust my grip while shooting.

I used to have a G26 with G.A.P. finger-rest extensions on my mags and I loved the two-fingered grip with the finger rest. I mainly went with the Pearce +1's for the extra capacity but now I'm considering removing them.

The G-33 is VERY accurate, and the Pierce +1's help a lot with recoil. Try the Hornady 124 and 147 grain XTP rounds. They have exception weight retention for CC, and are extremely accurate to boot!

Just swapped out my Pearce +1's for the GAP finger rest extensions. Too me the sub-compacts just feel better with the two-fingered grip.
