Like many I'm always trying to get the exact setup I want for CCW. After several drawer fulls of holsters and just as many pistols, I have finally narrowed it down.
Full size Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm with thumb safety (only one side) with Crimson Trace in a IWB Crossbreed holster. (one of the ugliest but most comfortable holsters), carrying one back up magazine. Plenty of ammo, cost of ammo is where I can still shoot and practice, quality self defense ammo carried, can shoot pistol one handed if needed, quick follow up shoots, low recoil, pistol is light weight and accurate.

To each his own or is it everyone dances to a different drummer.

For me it is the S&W CS45 in a Milt Sparks Versa MaxII or a Kramer Belt Scabbard for OWB on a Wilderness 5 stitch belt.
