I've been wanting a DSLR for ~2 years. I finally got it last week. I've taken almost 800 pics already and this thing ROCKS!!!

Here is one that I really like.

Curious, was it too dark to focus?

I hadn't really noticed the focus until you said something. That room is fairly dark, but most of the pics are in focus. With the kit lens I don't always get a sharp focus like I want and occasionally I fail to notice when it focused on the wrong spot. I'll go back and look at the original to see if it is focused on the wrong spot.

I am not sure if it is a focus issue, or a bad resize or some other thing. I will look at it again on my monitor at home this afternoon. Cute girl, eskimo kisses are sweet.:hearts:

Ahhh, I didn't look at exif. Indoor shooting with available light is tough sometimes. A little balanced fill or bigger aperture helps but each has drawbacks. The perfect photograph just doesn't exist.....

OK, how did you get that? The plugin I have didn't get anything.

Autofocus? With my XT AF isn't very reliable in low light with the kit lens.
