...ordered it a while back and finally picked it up. No range time upcoming as off to training I go in two days but I have wanted this Colt AR for a while. I swear it stays stock except for the charging handle, by BCM. I love the look, want to shoot the hell out of it. Some pics...

It was a long time coming.

I should have mounted a smaller and lighter red dot on mine, but when you can get an Aimpoint PRO for $350 brand new...gotta go with it.

Really nice. I have been thinking about getting an AR. What’s the difference between a 6720 and a 6920? Thanks.

Agreed...this Vortex, $159.99 and I have a few. I want to keep this AR light and simple.

I am not the expert but as far as I know, the barrel. Might be more but that is the extent of my Colt knowledge.

The AR6720 has skinny barrel while the LE6920 has M4 profile barrel. Otherwise they’re both the same.

    Had I found the 6720 before my 6920, I wouldn’t have bought the 6920.

Naw, that’s not true. I would have bought the 6920 anyway.

Purchased both is the correct answer :). I actually have an LE6920, sits with brothers in his safe. But has been a while since I’ve seen and shot it.

If there’s another panic buy, I’d sell the 6920 and keep the 6720.

Ours was a panic buy but we simply wanted to keep them for another day.

This red dot is defective so I think an Aimpoint or another Romeo 5 if I go cheap.

I've had the 6920 for a couple of years, shot the heck out of it. Really a great rifle. Here it is, two of it's Uncles and my Son's Armalite M-15. LE6920 (2).JPG AR-15's Large.jpg

I have a few AR’s and had a few but in my safe sit a few DD, a SOLGW, a BCM and now my second Colt. A few others I want I think, Colt wise.

I buy all sorts of guns that are inferior to FN guns.
