I've been reading, comparing and watching videos on all sorts of guns for a few months now. Early on I narrowed it down to a Glock for all the reasons most of you already know. It also didn't take me long to decide on a G27 and then Gen 4 over 3. So I picked it up yesterday and have been fondling it all day. Even though I know it's generally thought of as acceptable to dry fire modern firearms but I picked up some snap caps anyway and have been blissfully practicing my trigger pull. I haven't even fired a round yet and I can already see what people are talking about when they say "glock knuckle." I'm definitely going to have to build up a callus. Tentative plans to shoot on Friday. I'll be sure to update with my experience but I'll make a prediction as to what it will be: "damn that was a good time!"
