I’ve wanted one for awhile and our own Bender was selling his. It’s a DDM4V1. I can’t wait to shoot it. :)

It won’t have the optics, but here she is.

I've never owned a DD, but have shot a lot of them and they are excellent rifles. Congrats!

FYI that they cater to gun control. So while the product is good, I don't reward businesses that cater to removing American rights.

Didn’t deny ****. All that is news to me. And if you read through it all (few minutes of life wasted), it’s pointless drivel.

Been a WHOLE LOT worse than that done by gun companies.

I’m sure I’ll still love my new to me DD. But thanks for the tidbits. ;)

Marty Daniels most likely panicked and put his foot into that. I seriously doubt that he is anti gun in the least.

Its kinda like Sen. Finestine. Everyone here dislikes her cause of her anti gun views but she is actually been the best friend of gunowners in history! After Sandy Hook lots of Republicans were ready for some kind of gun bill to pass. They might have even formed a block and got other gun bills passed. The dam might have broke. The camel's nose might have got under the tent. But Diane, who was the point woman for the Dems on gun control, wrote such a extreme bill that the Reps felt safe opposing in. It never passed. The critical moment was lost, hopfully forever.

Her bill helped to aroused the hard to arouse, jaded, gun folks and they voted like never before. Even the Trump presidency could lay, to some extent, at her spiked heel feet. A moderate bill would have passed with bi partisan support. Gun folks would have got cynical about the "no difference in reps and dems" and stayed home giving the dems the last election.

Where would we been then with Hillary and a Dem Senate? Not to mention a SOLID hard liberal SCOTUS which would overturn Heller first chance. So if I were to run into Ms Finestine I would smile and give her a big 'ol Kentucky hug. Thank you Diane. Oh I got a new AR with a high capacity mag coming to my local shop next week and I owe it ALL to you! And yes it's a Daniel Defense DDm47vLW. It is great to be alive and living in the USA!

Pointless drivel? They supported gun control measures. Smh. Calling a gun manufacturer cooperating with Democrats for gun control "pointless drivel" means you are 100% in denial.

I am sure your rifle works without an issue and will serve you well. My point is that I don't reward traitors with my business.

Anti-gun? He makes money off of guns. I doubt he is anti-gun. However, he is definitely ANTI-RIGHTS and showed that with his support for gun control.

Hey johnny hothead. I bought the gun from another forum member, not DD, so technically I didn’t give them any of my business. :p

And I’d bet that you own guns from other manufacturers who’ve done things that can be viewed as anti gun/ anti rights. DD ain’t the first or the last.

BraddD put it very well. Dig deep enough and you’ll boycott pretty much everything you own. ;)

And the most important thing, I made a thread about getting a new gun that I’m proud of, spent my hard earned dollars on and wanted to share it with other members of a gun forum. So bottom line, if you don’t like DD, then don’t buy their products. But don’t troll my thread with your nonsense. Either say cool, nice gun. Or STFU and move on.

There’s always a guy like you to stir the pot for no reason at all other than to stir it.
