[IMG] [IMG] Been shooting just 9mm for years now but always thought about adding a .45. Well I went to the fun store yesterday and came home with a very lightly used Glock 21SF with threaded barrel and suppressor sights. Very excited to get this model because I'm probably buying an osprey 45 in the next few weeks, I figure it will work nice on the 21 and I could always use it on my 9mm guns for fun also. Here's a pic and one more with its little brother.

Nice pistols. I use 2 years a normal G21 without any problems. Latter I've replaced with G17 due cheaper ammo

congratulations. I had a G21SF for a bit. It is very nice and soft shooting!

I've been shooting .45 for forty years. "Back in the day", 9mm was what they shot on the other side of the pond. I didn't get my first 9mm until I started shooting steel plates. I love the cartridge.

The .45 still remains my home defense round though.

Nice get. The 21 is nice to shoot. I have the Gen 4 21 and use it w/o the straps to make it feel like the 21SF. Funny thing is that I prefer Gen3s but the Gen 4 21 was cheaper than the 21SF.

Me too, though not a Glock, but my first '45 outside the 1911 platform, a lightly used 1995 vintage EAA Tanfoglio Witness in 45acp:

Of solid steel construction it's generally a no go for CC, but with a shoulder rig it should be bearable.

I've never felt a penchant to own a Glock in 45acp, being quite happy with my Glocks in 9mm, 357sig, and 10mm chamberings.

This past year I located a Gen3 G21SF frame, and with parts from Lone Wolf produced this 10mm long slide:

She's a relative tack driver who at any given time can be reverted back to 45acp, as your G21SF can easily be converted to 10mm, should you choose to do so one day :D

    Best wises with your G21!!

I've got a 30s, a .45 Witness, and a PT145. I've carried the Witness, but I' d rather not. The PT145 was great (until I screwed it up), and then I got the 30s because they weren' t making PT145's anymore. The 30s has grown on me. All three shoot well, and are not as snappy as 9mm. I find them almost comfortable. This is with 230gr fmj. YMMV. Your gonna like your .45 Glock.

I like the 45ACP, and have for a long time. I got my first one in 1979.
It was a Colt Commander 1911. A fine pistol.
I had several 1911's through the years, and didn't start with Glocks till the early 90's, with 40cal. I got a G-21 gen3 in early 2001, and had one ever since. I like the G-21, and have been thinking about a
G-21SF The G-30s just didn't do it for me I don't get along with the finger grooves on the compact frames.
So now I have one G-21, and one 1911, a Springfield Mil-Spec SS.

The 21 is arguably my favorite Glock. I've had mine for years and it has had thousands of rounds thru it all w/o a hiccup. Reliable, accurate, and fun to shoot

Congratulations. I love the 45 ACP.

    I've had a 21, 30 and 36. I ended up keeping my 30.

The 21 is a great gun. Less felt recoil, more rounds, and lighter than my 1911. It's actually enjoyable to shoot.

G41 is my choice for Glock 45acp fun. Did try the 36 and 30S;not for me;did not fit my hands like the 41.

Congrats on the 21, that's a nice looking setup.
