It gets a lot of oohs and ahs from a lot of my buddies at the range. Very easy gun to shoot, excellent ergos. Hardly a carry gun because of its size. It loves NATO 124 grain ammo. Has excellent sights and a very good trigger, also I have come to appreciate the safety. In the end, though, it's just another iteration of the P320. I prefer my new Glock 45. 42789236420_94d80e22e0_k.jpg

I would really like to get one. I’m torn between the M-17, Glock 45 and a PPQ.

Good info. I’m tempted, but might end up with a mk25 instead.

Much the same for me. It's a 320. I like the mor19x more, but I like Glock more sp that's no surprise.

I would go with the mk25 1000% of the time myself.

I handled one today at the gun show. I thought the safety was flimsy. I am surprised that the army did not go with the 19x. After looking at all the entries.

I checked it out today. Was not impressed. But did not shoot it . Glock is light years ahead of this thing. At shop I was at it was a special edition. 945.00 US dollars. Not my US dollars. Not this year, next year or the year after. Well you guys get the point. Ergonomics were good but trigger was just ok. For almost a grand. I could get 2 run of the mill 3rd gens new! And a sig 9mm 226 is in the price range, and 3 times the gun. Let alone a legion 226, or a p226 mk25. No thanks I'm not drinking the cool aide.

the 19X didn't meet any of the Army's modular requirements.

Glock isn't light years ahead of the P320, that's myth.

Sig was more favorable both in pricing and the fact that they have their own handgun accessories, as well as they have their own line of ammunition. It'd be nice if people would stop perpetuating the myth that the 19MHS was never a real contender because it "wasn't modular". Here, feel free to read about it.

Glock didn’t meet the FBI’s modular requirements either. ;)

The FBI carry their version of the G19, called the 19M.
