Can anyone recommend a file synchronization for a Win98/ME/XP Peer to Peer Network. The owner wants all of the computers to have exactly the same data. It's for a business so I can't use shareware.

    Thanks in advance.

I recommend SyncBack. It’s a pretty good program and free. They also have another program called SyncBackSE. It’s $20, but according to their website, you can use the free version for commercial use.

    From their website:
Our freeware is free for personal, educational, charity, government, and commercial use.

Shareware is just a distribution method. If you mean you have to pay for it, you always pay for Shareware, if you like it and use it.

Try SyncBack. It is great software that works really well. Download the trial version and give it a try.

Easiest solution: shared folder on a file server.

If you are looking for free software, you are probably interested in open-source.
