So, any Hams on here with plans for Field Day?
http://www.arrl.org/contests/announcements/fd/

I'll be operating with Oregon Tualatin Valley ARC, at the new Stub Stewart State Park.

I used to live in CA, and I was in the Orange County ARC, and my wife and I attended Field Day with them several times, we helped work on HF both logging and voice contacts, as well as the VHF/UHF for a bit.

Fun times.

Bring on the BBQ and antennas!

Work kinda screwed that up this year... as did the rain.
It was time for a year off, though.
Bring on FD 2009!

Typical FD for our group. Just shy of 5000 QSOs.

We had a tower come down and ruined a TH-7, however that was quickly fixed and we carried on with the activities.

I was going to run a 1D station from the house, but the mood left me, plus I got busy doing some chores. I did make 8 contacts in 8 different states though while I was taking a couple breaks, from my 1 Delta KY station. I think all but one was made on 10 meters Sunday. 10 meters was going good Sunday and I like 10 meters.

Also 10 meters was open Tuesday night, some of us locals worked quite a few stations from down south.
