Hopefully the manufactures have replaced the 3rd shift braindeads and the dud issue has gone away. Rem. Golden Bullets seem to be going off now. CCI has been my mainstay during all that crap! The import rimfire ammo caused me no trouble during the ammo shortage. I only use maybe 2000 rounds per year but during the shortage the American stuff was abhorrent!

I won't run Remington. I had problems with Aguila in cold weather. Lot of my handguns aren't stock so it's hard to tell if issue is mechanical or ammo related.

Glad to hear it. Just about everything other than CCI was junk during the late unlamented unpleasantness. Maybe try some other brands now,

I bought a Heritage Rough Rider just to fire the duds I've occurred over the last few years. It has worked so far. YMMV. tom. :cowboy:
