Does anyone know what pistol model and brand of ammo they carry?
In poor taste at the present time.
My guess, .40 HST.
I've heard Glock 22.
Not sure if that is accurate, but is what some are saying.
I believe that HP is still issued either Glock 22 or 23. Most city and county here in MO use either 9mm or 40.
What, too soon???
Considering the governor of Missouri has declared a state of emergency I see nothing suspect if anyone wishes to arm him/herself with the same caliber/ammo that Ferguson PD is issued in order to protect themselves against the possibility of lawsuits if and when they were forced to protect themselves against the violent hordes being encouraged by "progressive" elements in our quickly-devolving civil society.
I wonder what guns/ammo the black Ferguson store owners are depending on to save their livelihoods and investments.
Are they in legal jeopardy if and when they're forced to defend themselves and property or do they get a free pass that's not given to Missouri LEO?
Somewhat reminiscent of the LA riots when Asian minority shop owners' successful defense of their lives and property depended entirely upon their individual Second Amendment rights.
Not at all...
Do you think the LEO should walk for shooting an unarmed man.
Honest men don't fear the truth.
Would you consider a 6-4/290# man a non threat?
Something Leo & ccw need to always consider. When you carry a gun into a confrontation & it turns violent, you brought a gun to a fist fight & you have to protect the gun. Trained Leo know this, ccw should too. Lose the fist fight, you may lose the gun & your life. Depending on your size, A guy that big is never unarmed.
If it is true that the person that was shot and killed was unarmed but attacking the officer and trying to take the officers gun, does that make a difference?
Even if he never reached for the leo gun, the leo can not lose that fight.
Info always good.
What I'd like to know is why they didn't have dash or body cameras.
I had no idea that some departments this day and age still don't have dash cameras.
You are assuming a fact not established by any investigation at the present time.
Please do try to adhere to what facts are established, and remember how the rabidly "progressive" media manufactured deliberate falsehoods in the Zimmerman/Martin incident in their attempt to try and convict Zimmerman prior to his trial and acquittal.
That really surprised me too! I know some departments are on tight budgets, but decent body/dash cameras aren't that expensive anymore and can more than pay for themselves....
Same reason many agencies don't pay their officers to practice shooting, $$$. This incident will probably change that.
