Lots of goodies came in today:

MTAC, 2 more G23 mags, and a complete G19 slide for my 23C. I can't wait to try it out with the 19 slide (hopefully tomorrow).

Does anyone's G19 barrel show this same wear? If so, how many rounds did it take to produce this?

All I need now are some G19 mags, and I can carry either .40s&w or 9mm with the same rig. The only 9mm mag I have that will fit this setup currently is a G18 31+rd mag, LOL. I don't think that will conceal well.

I hope the postman/woman is as good to you today or next week.

    All the best,

Yep, that wear is normal. My newest G19 has about 1,000 rounds through it and the barrel hood looks exactly like yours.

Ditto on the barrel "wear". 400 through my new G19, same thing.

No idea. I believe you can send your slide into Glock, and they can refinish it. Not sure on the fees for that though. Give them a call, they have excellent CS.

As for the one that I got, I bought it off a GT member.

Regarding that wear mark, don't forget to put a drop of oil on the inside top of your slide forward of the opening.

Glock charges $45.00 to refinish a slide.

becareful, you get what you pay for...i believe glock georgia still sends the slides out for refinish, so they dont even do it in house...
