Does anyone know what powder Federal uses in their 357 Sig 125 gr. Premiums?

Years ago while at a Nashville gun show, an ammo maker out of Alabama said Federal used a "low flash" version of N350. I pulled a factory bullet to compare the powder with N350. Looked very close, but obviously I have now way to confirm. It definitely wasn't ball powder though. I have yet to find a comparable powder that produces such low muzzle flash. N350 is probably the best I've tried so far.

Manufacturers do not use the same powders we use. They have blends particular to themselves. Sometimes you can duplicate, sometimes not.

Yes, the vast majority of factory ammo has powders in them that are unavailable to the public.
