My understanding is that Q/C is tighter on Match primers, but I have not noticed a significant difference. I have also not noticed a significant difference between standard and magnum Federal SPP with any of the loads I use.

My local supply store carries both At the same price the difference is the color of the box their in. I've looked online but I can't find anything saying what the difference is . I can also get plenty of cci and Winchester but I haven't tested them all out enough to figure out if any have an advantage over the other . Hopefully someone here will no what the deal is with the fed match vs plain federal primers

I don't load any thing (yet) that takes a small primer but I've been thinking of switching to WLP because they are for both mag and large primer .. I have some 50ae and 44mag loaded identical except some have WLP and some cci 350 and some fed match large mag primers I haven't had a chance to test them to see if theirs a difference

I bought 5000 Magnum CCI SPP's from midway once [close out sale] and used them in 9mm, I didn't notice any difference at all but, I did not own a chrono at that time.

As I suspected the only difference is the label .. When I think of match grade ammo I assume each charge of powder is exact . As for primers I expect them to put the same amount of care and quality in them all . But since their the same price I'll buy the match primers as long as their available

I work up a load with a given primer. Once the load is shooting well, I switch 2-3 diff primers, it often doesn't matter. Some rifles, some loads, there is a measurable diff in accuracy, but it's rare.
Btw, why are you buying mag primers? I will only use a mag primer if using slower powders & even then, in charge was above 45gr or so.
