Shot a box of Federal American Eagle 165 grain through my G22 today. Damn that stuff is hot! I think its the hottest .40 ammo I've fired as of yet. It's nothing I couldn't learn to control if I had a couple thousand rounds of it and shot every day for a while but still, it had considerably more snap than anything else I've fired in .40 S&W, granted I've never fired anything from Corbon, Double Tap, Underwood, etc. I've mainly shot WWB in both 165 and 180 grain, a little bit of 180 grain Winchester PDX1, and a couple boxes of Tula, which I don't think I'll be using again due to some horror stories I've heard. So how does this load compare to 165 grain Gold Dots or Rangers?
