I am not any of the things you suggest. If someone went to hell, why would I want them in heaven???

You said you knew who went to heaven. Now you're saying something different.

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither does he tempt any man.

Did you just "damn me"? I swear, what is wrong with some Christians? Do you think God doesn't see you casting stones? Your job on earth is to spread the fellowship of Christianity, but you are just a nasty and heartless hater of mankind who drives people away from adopting your faith. Sick.

I don't chose what I want to believe. I have to except a belief when it is supported by sufficient evidence. It doesn't mean the belief is true, just it is more likely true. By the way I rather go to the range. Is that heaven ? LOL

Do you think God knows you've never read the Bible and have no idea what Christianity is supposed to be doing?

So lets see, stupid people need God and smart people don't? Just shows who's smart and who's not. Every knee will bow sonny, start practicing.

God knows about every time I've opened a Bible and all the years I spent in Episcopal Church. Does he know about you bearing false witness? "Yes" to that as well.

Episcopal Church = "Protestant, yet Catholic"
Now I understand your posts better.

Right. Because you and a few hundred others are the receivers of the One True Word of God, and the other 2.2 billion Christians are heretics.

Again, thanks for bearing false witness.

If we believe different things we can't all be right. Can we?

Fundamentalist Christians view the King James Bible as the literal Word of God.
    The literal Word of God.

We don't use any other documents like the Catholics do.
We use the King James Bible and only the King James Bible.

Let's examine John 14:6 as an example:

To modernist Christians John 14:6 means that Christians who believe in Jesus Christ are going to Heaven.

To the Fundamentalist Christian John 14:6 means the same thing, but it also means that anyone who does not believe in Jesus Christ is going to Hell.

Modernist Christians have a hard time with that part about going to Hell.
They call Fundamentalists "haters" and bigots.

    Why is that?

What's the difference between those two interpretations of John 14:6?

Your faith tells you you're right and they are wrong.
Their faith tells them they're right and you are wrong.

    So no difference.

I do think it a little amusing that Evangelical Christians reading the recently created King James Bible would call anyone else "modernist". King James commissioned it for the Episcopal Church.

Well, the King James Bible says I'm right.
It's right there in black and white.

This is the reason we have the corrupted modern Bible versions.
They've watered down Christianity to make it easier for modern Christians.

Today's Christian can just "turn the other cheek" and be sure not to judge others, or cast the first stone. That way they can accept the sin of this world and fit into it better.

So the Episcopalian Bible tells you that you're right, but it misinforms the Episcopalian's that wrote it?

I doubt that the average athiest fears death much more or less than the average religious person.

Death is not the most frightening thing. Seeing your loved ones suffer along with you in your illness, leaving them alone, knowing you won't be there if they need you, knowing that they will be hurting and grieve your death. All those things overshadow death itself.

Death is either the end of all things or the beginning of something else and there is nothing I can do about it either way at this point.

For a lot of people, death is a welcome release, for others it is something they fight with every ounce of their will. But the ones I have known who fought the hardest, didn't fight because of fear, they fought to stay for the people who loved them, often simply to keep providing for them.

    Where did they go wrong?
I can show an Episcopalian things in the King James Bible that would bring tears to their eyes.
