I recently read an article that said that the Bureau was considering switching from .40 S & W to 9MM after extensive ballistics tests on today's high quality 9MM ammunition. It said they were seeking better accuracy & groupings from agents firing 9MM instead of the very poor accuracy they've seen with the 40 S & W. Has anybody heard this or is this just another rumor?

Yup. I have now read a lot of articles on line. Pretty sure its going to happen.
